Help Center – Feedback Ad Conversations

Conversations in a Nutshell:
A Conversation contains questions and multiple choice answers and landing page URL’s created by you. The questions engage the customer and their answers reveal their buying personae so they can be redirected to the right landing page offer.

Tips for Writing Great Conversations:

The Conversation can make or break your Feedback Ad. It’s not hard to write good a good one, you just need to think it through. These tips should help:

Know Your Buyer Profiles
By now, you should have your landing page URL’s. You should know the different buyer personae for each one because the whole idea of writing your Conversation is to sort the customers that interact with your ad and send each one to the right landing page. Maybe one offer is for cost conscious buyers and one is for high-rollers. Whatever your buyer personae, you need to write a Conversation that sorts each to the offer that’s right for them.
Know Your Audience and Grab Their Attention
Think about the people that will see your ad and make sure the Conversation captures their imagination. It should be relevant to their interests and pull them into the ad.
Start General Then Get More Specific
Your goal is to sort your customers to various buyer profiles and send each group to the right landing page. Start with a general Conversation then get more specific.
Don’t be Afraid to Climb out on a Limb Branch
Your Conversation can contain branching logic. That’s where the the first response determines the next question. Use this powerful capability and you’ll get better results.
Plan First, Then Write Right
We recommend you plan your Conversation before you begin writing. Plan your questions first, then the answers for each question, then the branching, then finally the landing pages.

Once You’ve planned it out, write it out:

Feedback Ads use copies of your Conversations, not masters!

The Conversations in your Conversation Library are master templates. When you select one for use in a Feedback Ad, the ad uses a copy of the master.

You can edit a Conversation once it’s in a Feedback Ad

It’s easy to modify the Conversation in your Feedback Ad as long as the ad is still in Preflight mode. Just go to your Feedback Ad Library, select the ad you want to work with then click the Edit Conversation button. Your changes are immediate. Changes that are made to this Conversation do not change the master template in your Conversation Library.
